n4ked.net is built for private 1-to-1 calls without mandatory accounts.
Camera & microphone
Your browser asks permission to use camera and microphone. Media stays on your device until a call connects; then it is sent peer-to-peer to the other person when WebRTC allows it.
What we store
- No account signup is required.
- Matching and room state live in server memory while people are connected.
- Payment usernames you type (Lightning / PayPal.Me) may be saved in your browser’s local storage so you don’t re-enter them.
- We do not keep a permanent archive of your video or chat.
Payments
Lightning and PayPal payments go through those providers (or your wallet apps). n4ked helps create payment links / invoices for the call; you confirm payment between participants.
